Ohio 94, Marshall 57

So many excellent games in this pile. We'll start with D.J. Cooper, because so do they, who scored 12 points, had six rebounds, four steals and a school record 17 assists.

Nick Kellogg shot 5-for-9 on threes to finish with 22 points, leading the Bobcats. Reggie Keely did work inside, scoring 18 points including 8-for-9 from the floor. Walter Offutt added 13 and Ivo Baltic had a diverse 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

It was a dynamic game offensively and defensively; OU had 16 steals, forcing a total of 26 Herd turnovers. And it was pretty much over by halftime, when Ohio went into the locker room with a 56-24 advantage.

And that, folks, is the Ohio Bobcats team we were looking for again. Granted, Marshall is having a down year (their best victory is perhaps Savannah State, RPI 172) but it's a rivalry game nonetheless, and winning in this fashion bodes well for what they should accomplish heading into the MAC season. They'll start off next Wednesday by hosting Buffalo on STO/ESPN3.
