No matter whether they are at Savage Arena or a place far, far away, the Rockets just keep on winning. Toledo beat the Red Wolves of Arkansas State in Jonesboro tonight to up their conference-best record to 10-0, their best start to the season since the 1998-99 season.

The Rockets struggled a little to start the game, allowing Arkansas State to hit seven threes in the first half. Toledo was able to score as they usually are, but they just couldn't do enough on defense to hold a lead at halftime.

The second half went much smoother, as Toledo went on a 22-8 run over the first eight minutes and never looked back. Arkansas State cut the lead to six with around ten minutes left, but that's the closest they would get.

Justin Drummond led the Rockets with nineteen points and six rebounds. Nathan Boothe followed that up with fourteen and four boards. Julius Brown struggled, going 2-12 from the field and only recorded three assists. It was an odd statistical game in that Toledo only committed eight fouls and only made one three point field goal. While the Rockets weren't getting any points from beyond the arc, they made up for it at the free throw line making nineteen of twenty-three attempts.

Kirk Van Slyke had 22 off of the bench on 9-16 shooting from the floor for the Red Wolves.

Toledo heads back home to face 5-5 Cleveland State on Saturday at 2, which will be streamed on the MAC Digital Network.
