The year 2013 has been one to forget in Miami men's athletics, and the hits just keep coming.
Reggie Johnson, the second-leading scorer for Miami (Ohio), is reportedly transferring: http://t.co/U3avmo0TmR

Chicago Hoops was the first to report the news, as Johnson is originally from the Windy City. This loss particularly hurts on the court, as Johnson (a sophomore) was the RedHawks' second leading scorer at twelve points per game. Miami will have to replace his 28 minutes per game which will be tough considering only eight players get regular playing time. The good news is that Oregon transfer Willie Moore is now fully eligible after being suspended the first nine games of the season for selling Oregon gear.
This marks the seventh defection from the program in the last year or so. Johnson follows Allen Roberts, Jon Harris, Josh Sewell, Brian Sullivan, and Orlando Williams as the standouts to leave the team.
Eric Washington, a transfer from Presbyterian, will likely take Johnson's spot in the starting lineup, but he won't be eligible until next season. It's looking like another rough year in Oxford.
