Can KRis Brewer and the Flashes take down NIU twice this season, or will their recent woes continue?

Another Wednesday evening jam-packed with MAC basketball. First a little rant though: When will the MAC scheduling department learn the benefits of staggering game times. Three games at 7 and three games at 8 is better than all six at 7. It's common sense. But I digress. We've got some great games tonight, headlined by a rematch of Northern Illinois vs. Kent State. Just a few weeks ago these two battled it out in overtime with an eventual Golden Flashes win in DeKalb. Now NIU will look to return the favor to a Ken State team that is reeling. This game can be seen on Time Warner SportsChannel, or on the MAC Digital Network (where all the other games are available for free as well)

Elsewhere, Bowling Green vs. EMU round 2 looks to be another defensive struggle. Both teams are coming off disappointing weeks though, so maybe that will force them to be more proactive on the scoring side of things. WMU-Buffalo features a fantastic matchup as Shayne Whittington and Javon McCrea will go head to head. CMU is looking for its first MAC win, at Ohio, which is a whole other problem in itself, and we get another great matchup as Majok Majok will be tasked with limiting Demetrius Treadwell's post presence tonight. Oh, and don't forget that Toledo vs. Miami is shaping up to be a fiercely competitive game. The 'Hawks and their trio of Wills are rolling at the perfect time and should be a danger to give Toledo just its third loss on the season.
