After more than three days of speculation and rumors and an eerily quiet morning, it appears Jim Christian and Boston College are close to agreeing on a deal for the vacant men's basketball head coach position.
According to FOX Sports Ohio's Zac Jackson the sides are "close" and a deal will possibly be done later today (Thursday).
If Christian takes the job he'll owe Ohio a $500,000 buyout. Christian just finished his second season as the Bobcats' men's basketball head coach, and won 49 games in that span.
