Bowling Green Legend Antohny Stacey Lands on Toledo Rocket's Staff

University of Toledo head coach Tod Kowalczyk's staff was rounded out this week and the name should ring a bell with MAC fans.  Bowling Green Falcon legend and current Sandusky High School head coach Anthony Stacey has been announced as the newest assistant for the Rockets.

Stacey, 37, is the all-time leading scorer in Falcon history, and was the 1997 MAC Freshman of the Year and the 2000 MAC Player of the Year.  This will serve as Stacey's first position in college coaching as he replaces Jordan Mincy who departed for Louisiana Tech.

Following his career at BGSU Stacey played professionally in Spain for nine plus seasons. He is a member of the BGSU Hall of Fame and his jersey, number 34, hangs in the rafters of the Stroh Center.
