Men's basketball schedules across the nation are all being released today, including the Eastern Michigan Eagles'. The Eagles, as always, have some pretty tough non-conference opponents to look forward to: Michigan State (11/23/15) went to the Final Four last year after beating Louisville (12/12/15) in the Elite Eight. Penn State (12/5/15) was not much of a threat in the Big Ten last year, but still finished with a 18-16 overall record.
Conference play for the Eagles begins on January 6 against Central Michigan (regular season champions from last season), who EMU lost to in both contests last year. They'll also play at Mt. Pleasant on February 9. The Eagles lost to eventual MAC Tournament champs Buffalo last season by 15 at home and will play them at home again this year on January 12.
