Jordan Threloff, a former Northern Illinois Huskie has signed with Aceitunas Fragata Morón. This team based out of Spain plays in the Spanish LEB Silver League. This is comes after earning a promotion to leave Liga EBA.
When asked about signing to play overseas Threloff said, "I’m excited for the experience, it has been a pleasure to finish my college career here at NIU. I’m hopeful that I can play well and keep playing for a long time."
NIU Head Coach Mark Montgomery had this to say via press release, "Jordan earned his degree this past spring and has been an outstanding representative of both NIU and DeKalb. I know that he will have great success in Spain."
Last season Threloff appeared in all 30 basketball games. Threloff averaged 8.3 points a game, along with 7.3 rebounds. Last season he was the seventh-best rebounder in the MAC. Also he scored in double-figures 13 times last season.
