As the non-conference portion of the schedule drawing to the close, there’s a handful of MAC teams in action today have a chance to build some momentum ahead of league play. The Miami RedHawks kick off the Sunday with a noon game on the road against a solid UCF team. Getting a win would be huge for the confidence of the young ‘Hawks, but this will definitely be a challenge for the team.
Later, the Kent State Golden Flashes host Wright State at 4 p.m. The Raiders are usually a tough out, so it’ll be an interesting match-up for KSU, who is nipping at the heels of some of the top teams in the MAC. The Bowling Green Falcons have a road test at 5 p.m. at San Jose State as BG looks to string together some wins to help get it out of the MAC cellar.
In the premier match-up of the evening, the Western Michigan Broncos head west to take on Washington at 8 p.m. The Huskies are usually tough, but are on a four-game losing streak and had some questionable losses at home this season (YALE AND NEVADA). So there’s a lot of #MACsketball to digest today, and we look forward to talking about it in the comments below.
