Ohio's season isn't over yet.

After Ohio's semifinal loss in the MAC Tournament to eventual champion Buffalo, head coach Saul Phillips made it clear he thought his team deserved a spot in a postseason tournament. On Sunday night the Bobcats learned they will be playing in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and will host the Albany Great Danes of the America East Conference in the first round.

Albany finished their season at 24-8 overall and 13-3 in conference. They were upset by 7th-seeded Hartford in the first round of the conference tournament, and are currently ranked 119th in KenPom. The Great Danes' best win this year was over 12th seeded Yale, blowing them out 88-54 at home.

The game will be played on Wednesday and tip-off will likely be 7 p.m. It is not known as of yet which teams the winner would potentially play, as the CBI has not released the official bracket.
