After two seasons with the Toledo Rockets, point guard Stuckey Mosley is set to transfer to another school.
The sophomore started all but one of the 32 games this season, averaging 10.2 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the floor, 78 percent from the free throw line (ninth in the conference). Mosley was sixth in the MAC with 4.0 assists per game (127 total) with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.95. He was also second on the team averaging 4.8 rebounds per contest.
Yesterday, The Blade's Nick Piotrowicz reported that the Rockets were able to get a JUCO point guard from Canada to commit to the program. Daniel Dzierzawski will have two seasons of eligibility and can play starting 2016-17, led Moberly Area Community College with 15.2 ppg and 2.3 apg.
The Rockets were a 9-seed entering the MAC Tournament this year after finishing the regular season with a 17-14 (8-10 MAC) record before falling to Eastern Michigan in the opening round.
Below is a tape of Dzierzawski, the incoming guard.
