The men’s basketball plot continues to thicken as we have six games on deck for today, starting with the Kent State Golden Flashes hosting the Central Michigan Chippewas at noon. The Chips are starting to pick up some steam with the play of Marcus Keene and Braylon Rayson, but the rebounding prowess of KSU could present some problems. At 1 p.m. is a MAC West battle between the Ball State Cardinals and Western Michigan Broncos in Muncie, as the Cards are riding high after a win at the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Tuesday.
Staying in the West, the Northern Illinois Huskies hit the road to take on the Toledo Rockets at 2 p.m. as both teams seek to rise above the cluster of three-MAC loss teams in the division. The Miami RedHawks and Eastern Michigan lock horns at 3:30 p.m. as the RedHawks might be showing signs of improvement following a win over the defending MAC champion Buffalo Bulls.
To cap off the day in #MACsketball, the Bowling Green Falcons invite the Ohio Bobcats to northwestern Ohio at 4 p.m. and the Bulls travel to square off against the Akron Zips at 7:30 p.m. The Falcons have an opportunity to take down the shorthanded Bobcats at home, while UB is in desperate need of a win in order to keep its season from going awry.
With all this #MACtion on a cold and blustery Saturday, there’s no better time than now to stay inside and partake in the comments below on all things shooty hoops.
