With a little over a month left in the MAC regular season, the #MACsketball games start to mean more as we have a loaded Tuesday night for with six games on tap. The Akron Zips and the Ball State Cardinals get us started at 6 p.m. in northeast Ohio as Akron would like to avoid consecutive losses, but the Cardinals want to prove that they belong at the top of the MAC and a win at the Zips would solidify their case.
We then have the rest of our slate at 7 p.m. with the Miami RedHawks hosting the Western Michigan Broncos in one of those games. If you don’t care to see the battle of the bottom of the conference, the Northern Illinois Huskies hitting the road to take on the Buffalo Bulls should whet you basketball appetite. NIU has been pretty strong all season long and Buffalo is still a very dangerous team, so this should be a very good contest.
We also have the Bowling Green Falcons and the Kent State Golden Flashes hooking up on KSU’s home court in what should be a close battle until the very end. Then, we’ve got a big MAC West clash as the Toledo Rockets invite the Eastern Michigan Eagles to their humble abode as both teams are jockeying for position in the division.
The Central Michigan Chippewas at the Ohio Bobcats is our main event of the evening as the best player in the conference in Marcus Keene will go up against a Bobcat team that is playing as well as anyone in the MAC right now.
With a number of good games to watch and discuss, let’s hop down into the comments below and have fun talking about the great #MACtion tonight.
