Long time commits, Josh Teachey, and Nevone McCrimmon, won't be the only recruits from Maryland headed to Toledo next season. Last Friday, two-star, class of 2015 prospect David Rose, of Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, committed to the Rockets over reported scholarship offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Ohio, Bucknell, Duquesne, Fordham, and Robert Morris.
Rose, a solid 6-foot 175 pound athlete who plays on both sides of the ball in high school, will make the transition to cornerback full time once he suits up for Matt Campbell, and the Rockets.
So far this recruiting cycle, Campbell and his solid group of assistant coaches have put together one of the most intriguing classes in the Mid-American Conference.
Tallying in Rose's commitment, Toledo is currently sitting at 22 pledges and the Rockets are steadily rocking Western Michigan's boat for the top overall class in the MAC.
At the moment, Rose and his Potomac squad are 5-0. Rose has played a huge role in his team's success on the field so far this year and looks to have his team in the running for not only a conference title, but also a state championship.
