Class of 2016 offensive lineman Nate Brock has been a busy man this fall. While helping his Olentangy Liberty squad to an overall record of 9-3, Brock made stops on the campuses of Mid-American Conference programs Ball State, Ohio, Toledo, and most recently Western Michigan.
"The WMU visit was awesome. They are a program that is truly progressing in the right direction. The Row The Boat theme, and the emphasis they put on family is really incredible. On top of all that the facilities were really spectacular. Ranging from the weight room to the locker room and indoor facility. I had a great time, and can't wait to get back up there." The 6'4 265 pound junior told Hustle Belt of his visit to Kalamazoo last Friday.
Not only did Nate have a chance to tour the campus, and watch the Broncos take on Northern Illinois, he also had the opportunity to speak with P.J. Fleck, and many other members of the WMU coaching staff.
"I talked to Coach Fleck, Coach Shimko, Coach Callahan, Coach Wenger, Coach Pinkham, Coach Hart, and Coach Hennessey." Said, Brock. "They talked a lot about the direction the program is going , and they were excited I was there. I also got invited back to their junior day as they prepare for a bowl game."
If his schedule allows it, Brock would like to make it back up to WMU for the aforementioned upcoming junior day. That trip isn't the only one he's currently trying to pencil in. The under-the-radar lineman, who has yet to pick up his first scholarship offer, would also like to find time to visit Bowling Green, and Miami of Ohio in the very near future.
