Bowling Green has been extremely successful on the recruiting trail within the past week alone. Just a few days after landing a 4-star quarterback, Bowling Green got right back to what seems to be their focus of their 2015 recruiting class: defense, and lots of it. Tuesday afternoon Bowling Green landed outside linebacker Harrison Roberts.
Roberts, a 6-foot-2 210 pound recruit, attends Euclid High School in Euclid, Ohio. Roberts possesses great pass rushing skills and has shown the ability to stuff backfields on a consistent basis. Roberts has flown under the radar to date as Bowling Green was the only school to offer him. However, he ultimately decided Bowling Green was the right fit for him and they may have gotten a steal here.
The verbal commitment of Roberts this afternoon gives Bowling Green its third linebacker in the 2015 class. As a matter of fact, all three linebacker commitments reside in the state of Ohio (the other two being Justice Hart and Ferrod Gardner). It has become evident that Bowling Green has put a great emphasis on getting better on defensive end of the football as all but one of their commits to date plays defense.
