This summer has been a really good one for the Bowling Green football program so far. After a rather slow start, the Falcons recruiting class is finally starting to take shape.

Last Thursday afternoon, class of 2015 defensive back Robert Jackson Jr. became the ninth prospect to give a verbal pledge to BGSU, and head coach Dino Babers. Deciding to commit just about a month after receiving his scholarship offer from Bowling Green, the small but hard-nosed, 5-foot-10 160-pound Jackson will add another quality athlete to the Falcons secondary.
Suiting up for Forestville, Maryland's Bishop McNamara High School last season, Robert, was one the Mustangs key leaders on defense. As a junior, he finished second on the team with 90 total tackles, while also racking up two quarterback sacks, one interception, and a fumble recovery from his cornerback position.
Even with his success on the field last season, Jackson flew under the radar as a major college football recruit. Bowling Green, and James Madison, were his only scholarship offers, but weren't the only schools to take notice. Programs such as Dartmouth, Delaware, and Old Dominion were showing quite a bit of interest before his commitment to BGSU.
