Matt Campbell and the Toledo Rockets already possesses arguably the best offensive line in the MAC this upcoming season, but that's not enough for them. Toledo is doing everything possible to ensure it can keep dominating the trenches for years to come, especially early on in the 2015 recruiting process.
With a commitment from 2015 offensive tackle, the Rockets now have six offensive line commits for 2015. Bell just may be the best of the bunch.
The 3-star offensive tackle (247Sports Composite) is considered a Top 60 prospect in the state of Ohio. The 6-foot-8 330 pound Macedonia, Ohio native plays for local football power Nordonia and has an elite level of size that few MAC lineman have.
He actually chose the Rockets over and offer from Maryland, and is likely to gain more offers before he can sign in February 2015.
His NFL-caliber frame allows him to bully around the smaller defensive linemen, and creates an almost impassable wall to pass on the edge. He's not incredibly quick, and his athleticism needs to improve, but he packs a mighty first punch off the line, and is a fantastic run blocker.
Should Bell be able to tone himself up and improve some of his pass blocking technique he has the potential to be the anchor of the Rockets' offensive line for several years.
