2015 Western Michigan Football Recruiting: ATH Samuel Beal Commits To Broncos

PJ Fleck does it again.

The boat is definitely rowing along in Kalamazoo. Already off to a fantastic start to the 2015 recruiting class, P.J. Fleck, and Western Michigan landed their 19th verbal commitment yesterday afternoon when Grand Rapids native, and soon to be Ottawa Hills High School senior athlete Samuel Beal, announced his intentions to join the WMU football family, via his Twitter page.

Giving his verbal pledge to Fleck and Western Michigan soon after receiving his chance to suit up for the Broncos, the 6-foot-2 and 180-pound speedster could find time on the field in many different ways once he reaches the college level, which is something he is already more than used to doing.

Lining up at wide receiver, cornerback, and returning kicks on special teams, Samuel, who isn't just a solid performer on the gridiron, but also on the track, helped Ottawa Hills finish the year above .500 last season, with an overall record of 5-4, after a less than stellar 3-7 campaign in 2012.

Playing mostly on offense last season, Beal averaged nearly 20 yards a reception in the Bengals primarily rushing attack offense, finishing his junior year with right around 150 total receiving yards and three touchdowns.
