2015 Bowling Green Football Recruiting: OLB Brandon Harris Commits To The Falcons

Versatile linebacker Brandon Harris commits to the defending MAC Champions.

Bowling Green continues to build a very respectable 2015 recruiting class over the summer and linebacker Brandon Harris is another quality addition.

Harris is from Cleveland, Ohio and is an amazing athlete. Harris, a 6-foot-3 205 pound recruit, displays his athleticism every Friday night by playing wide receiver and strong safety for Shaw High School. As a wide receiver, he caught 23 passes for 450 yards and 2 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Harris was dominant as he collected 29 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. Harris' efforts have not gone unnoticed as he is rated a 2-star recruit by 247Sports and Scout.

Bowling Green plans to move him over to linebacker once he gets on campus and Harris seems like a guy who can definitely make the switch. Harris runs a 4.6 40 yard dash and his speed becomes evident as he can quickly get into a backfield and cause problems for the opponent's offense.

Harris not only excels on the field but also in the classroom as he currently carries a 3.5 GPA. Although Bowling Green was the only school to offer Harris, it is easy to see that Coach Babers and his staff received a well rounded young man who can help the team win another MAC championship during his time at Bowling Green .
