Toledo has been extremely active on the recruiting trail lately, however as we stated in a previous article, they were lacking skill players in this 2015 recruiting class. Well now Toledo has landed another athletic player who has the ability to play both offense and defense, Jordan Fisher.
Fisher, a 6-foot 209 pound recruit, plays both wide receiver, safety, and outside linebacker for Tuscarora HIgh School in Lessburg, Virginia. He chose Toledo over multiple FCS offers and interest from Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Pittsburgh.
Fisher has shown the ability to catch jump balls in the red zone while also being a hard hitting force on the defensive side of the ball. Fisher had an exceptional junior campaign, he was selected 2nd team All-Conference for both WR and all-purpose defense. Fisher's success has not gone unnoticed as he is rated a 2-star athlete by 247Sports and Rivals.com.
Fisher will fit in nicely at Toledo and Coach Campbell and his staff continue to find under the radar prospects who have great potential to make an impact.
