2015 Ohio Football Recruiting: S Javon Hagan Commits To The Bobcats

The Bobcats land their 12th commitment of the 2015 recruiting class.

Ohio has been pretty quiet on the recruiting trail lately. Well they ended their silence on Friday when Javon Hagan committed to the Bobcats.

Hagan, a 6-foot-0 190 pound safety, hails from the Sunshine State and attends Trinity Christian Academy. Hagan is a hard hitting safety who just oozes with potential. Schools noticed his potential as he reportedly held offers from Charlotte, Cincinnti, Florida International, Miami, Ole Miss, Utah, Wake Forest, and Western Kentucky before ultimately deciding on the Bobcats.

Hagan is a 2-star recruit according to Rivals.com and unranked by 247Sports. Although Hagan clearly has talent he is not the only safety that Ohio has signed in this 2015 recruiting class. Mayne Williams also projects to play safety at the next level so it will be interesting to see who sees the field first.

Hagan looks like his first impact could be on special teams as he has shown the ability to block well on kick returns. He is definitely an intriguing prospect and if the Bobcats keep him on the straight and narrow then he could be a great pickup for coach Solich and his staff.
