The new coaching staff did not have to travel far to find their newest commitment. OT Evin Ksiezarczyk is from Buffalo, New York and attends West Seneca East Senior High School.
Evin announced his decision on his Twitter account on Sunday night after taking an official visit over the weekend.
"Blessed to announce that I am committed to play football at the University at Buffalo. #HornsUp"
He chose Buffalo over reported offers from Nevada, Old Dominion, and UTEP. Shortly after his commitment, Evin told us exactly why he chose Buffalo.
"The best thing about it all is that it's my home. This is where I live and I want to play in front of my family and 22,000 other people."
At 6-foot-6 295 pounds, Evin definitely has the frame to play offensive line at the FBS level. Evin not only has a big frame, he also has some big goals he wants to accomplish while at Buffalo and even beyond.
"Well off the field I'm gonna work for a great degree but I'm not sure what field yet. On the field I'm going to work to play as soon as possible and be a dominating force. Hopefully that work will help me get into the NFL because that's my biggest goal."
Evin will get his first chance to suit up for the Bulls when they play Albany at home on September 5th. In the meantime, check out Evin's highlights courtesy of Hudl:
