2016 Western Michigan Football Recruiting: ATH Brad Tanner commits to Broncos

The Broncos future gets even brighter.

Western Michigan is definitely rowing the boat towards another top Mid-American Conference recruiting class. Coming into the week with 25 pledges already under their belt, P.J. Fleck and the rest of the WMU staff added their 26th verbal commitment on Tuesday evening.

As first reported by Allen Trieu of Scout.com, under-the-radar athlete Brad Tanner is the latest senior prospect to announce he will suit up for the Broncos. Ending his recruitment just days after receiving his scholarship from WMU during a visit to Kalamazoo, Tanner, a Romeo, Michigan native, decided WMU was the right spot for him over the chances to continue his education and athletic career at Ball State, Davenport, Ferris State, and Northwood University.

A jack-of-all-trades for State Champion Romeo High, Tanner put together a great senior campaign. The 6'2 185-pound standout accounted for over 1,700 all purpose yards and 25 touchdowns. Not just a game changer on offense he also finished the year off with around 25 total tackles and two interceptions for the 13-1 Bulldogs.
