Western Michigan has been as busy as any program in the country throughout the 2016 recruiting cycle. This trend continued on Wednesday night as P.J. Fleck and his staff landed their tenth verbal commitment, WR Hunter Broersma.
Broersma announced his big decision on his Twitter page.
Happy to say that I verbally committed to Western Michigan

Broersma chose the Broncos over reported offers from Buffalo, EMU, Miami, and Toledo. He was also garnering interest from Michigan State and Purdue.
Broersma currently attends Mona Shores in Muskegon, Michigan and put up some big numbers during his junior year. Through 12 games, Broersma had 1,038 yard and 11 TD's on 75 touches as well as intercepting five passes and deflecting eight passes.
Broersma has big-play potential every time he touches the ball and could be a home run threat for coach Fleck and his staff for many years to come.
This commitment gives Western Michigan their 10th member of the 2016 recruiting class. At this point, the Broncos currently have eight 3-star recruits which is good enough for the 12th ranked recruiting class in the nation according to 247Sports.
