2016 Toledo Football Recruiting: TE Nate Swart commits to the Rockets

Toledo landed their 3rd commitment for the class of 2016 tonight.

Coach Campbell and his staff picked up another solid commitment over the weekend. Tight end Nate Swart is the most recent commitment to the Rockets for the class of 2016.

Swart chose the Rockets over interest from Pittsburgh and has mostly flown under the radar to date. At 6-foot-5 225 pounds, the Rockets see potential in Swart down the road.

Swart's decision was first reported by Allen Trieu on Saturday evening.

Swart plays both tight end and defensive end for Washington High School in Washington, Pennsylvania however, Toledo is recruiting him to play tight end. With his size, Swart could be a solid red-zone target for the Rockets and quickly become a fan favorite among Rocket's fans.

Shortly after his commitment Hustle Belt caught up with Swart to find out exactly why he chose the Rockets.

"I committed to Toledo because I get that this is the place for me and where I want to spend the next 4-5 years of my life. I love the coaching staff as well."

Swart also has some big goals for himself while at Toledo and beyond.

"The ultimate goal is to play in the NFL."
