Could Ball State be the next school to catch fire on the recruiting trail? Coach Lembo and his staff have added their second commitment in 12 days. Saturday afternoon class of 2016 OG Dominick Mathis from Warren Central HS in Indianapolis, IN decided to become the second member of the 2016 #ChirpChirp recruiting class.

Recruiting Profile:
Dominick Mathis | Committed to Ball State| Indianapolis, IN (Warren Central)
OG | 6'4 | 290 lbs. | 247Sports Composite: Unrated

After visiting the campus "a few times" Mathis is excited to join a "good program that is getting better and better and I want to be a part of it." Mathis stated to Hustle Belt when we followed up with him following his recent commitment.
Mathis joins TE Dylan Koch from Plainfield East HS in Plainfield, IL in the growing 2016 Cardinals class. Mathis is an extremely physical offensive lineman with good size at 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, and because of that the chance to possibly go to Muncie and start from day one is a highly possible outcome.
Currently flying under-the-radar, Ball State was Dominick's only reported offer at the time of his commitment..So far in this 2016 class, coach Lembo and staff have shown they have no problem reaching to other states for recruits, but as the saying goes, "Home is Where The Heart is" and to them that is what the great state of Indiana is.
