2016 Ball State Football Recruiting: S Mitch Larsen commits to the Cardinals

Ball State adds to their 2016 class with a commit from the Buckeye State.

The Cardinals picked up another recruit for their 2016 class.  Mitch Larsen announced his commitment to Ball State on Twitter this past Friday, June 19.  The two-star safety reportedly held offers from Morehead State and Bowling Green before he committed to Ball State.  Larsen also reportedly was in talks with Cincinnati, Kent State, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Toledo.

Larsen told Hustle Belt that the coaching staff and Ball State's integrity of their football team were the main reasons that led him to Muncie, Indiana.  The 6-foot-1 safety also discussed his aspirations and goals that he has during his college football career.  When asked about certain goals he had at Ball State, he told Hustle Belt,

"(I would like to) be a leader on the field and in the classroom!  As a team, I want Ball State to continue its success, and help them become a top 25 team, and continue rising in it as well!"
