The Cardinals continue to bring in the recruits. Defensive End Donald Manning announced his commitment on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. The Plainfield East student from Plainfield, Illinois also reportedly held offers from Eastern Michigan, Wyoming, Southern Illinois, and South Dakota.

Hustle Belt was able to catch up with the Cardinals' newest pledge to expound on why he chose Ball State. "I loved my visit plus the coaching staff is great and I felt at home and could see myself playing there."
Manning was also kind enough to discuss some of the goals he hopes to accomplish during his years at Ball State. "(I plan to) give my all to the program and be successful on and off the field."
This type of mentality is something college coaches strive for when they are looking at prospects. Manning will join fellow 2016 Cardinals defensive end commit Frank Burton to help with the Cardinals pass rush that ranked tenth in the MAC with only 16 sacks.
