2016 Bowling Green Football Recruiting: WR Odell Spencer commits to the Falcons

2014 high school graduate Spencer joins the Falcons.

The Falcons added another piece to the class of 2016 puzzle earlier this month. Odell Spencer will transfer and continue his education and playing days at Bowling Green. Spencer grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 2014.  The former three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, signed with the Cincinnati class of 2014 before heading to Junior College.

The Falcons' commit will reportedly enroll at Bowling Green in January of 2016 after speding time at Lakeland Community College, according to an interview that Scout.com had with him.

"This has been a long process, but I'm a lot smarter now in how to pick a school. This was mainly about the Bowling Green coaches, and how they feel about me as a person and a player." Spencer stated to recruiting analyst Bill Greene.

Spencer is eligible to compete for the Falcons for the 2016 season.  The 6-foot 170 pound athlete is able to play wide receiver and defensive back at the collegiate level.  However, the buzz around Bowling Green is that he will be a wide receiver for the Falcons.
