The Miami RedHawks wheeled in its seventh recruit Sunday evening as Hazelwood East High School's Cameron Turner announced his decision via Twitter.
The St. Louis native had reportedly received offers from Ball State, Eastern Illinois, Bowling Green, Army, South Dakota State, Wyoming, Southeastern Missouri, Air Force, and Indiana State before announcing his commitment to Miami.

The hard-hitting middle linebacker has thrived at Hazelwood East High School by receiving second team All-State awards his junior year. Turner also led his conference with 132 tackles, five sacks, and shared the conference lead with fumble recoveries.
The 6-foot, 215-pound Miami commit was kind enough to catch up with Hustle Belt. Turner discussed why he thinks Miami is the perfect fit for him.
"I loved the campus, it felt like a home to me. And I feel like it is going too make a huge come up. An atmosphere of greatness and success, and I would love to be a part of that."
Miami will look to Cameron Turner to provide an interior presence for the RedHawks' defense that allowed nearly 200 rushing yards per game in 2014.
