Banks, from Evanston, Illinois, is a two-star wide receiver/defensive back by 247Sports. Standing at 6-feet tall and weighing 175 lbs., Banks has the frame to add weight and has the talent to be a good skill player at the next level and chose to take that frame to Oxford over offers from Ball State and Bowling Green.
"Just the coaches made me feel at home," Banks said to 247Sports about his recruitment to Miami. "It just wasn't the defensive coaches; it was the offensive coaches too. Also, Miami feels like home and I loved the visit when I went up there."
