2016 Ohio Football Recruiting: DBs Ilyaas and Xavior Motley commit to the Bobcats

The Bobcats land a pair of twins to add to their 2016 class.

Earlier this week the Bobcats received pledges from a pair of twins, Ilyaas and Xavior Motley, that they would continue their football career in Athens, Ohio.  The Motley brothers are entering their senior year at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio.  Ilyaas Motley announced on his Twitter page that the brothers would be attending Ohio for the 2016 football season.

The Motley twins were rumored to have been a recruiting package wherever they went, and Ohio was lucky enough to land them.  The Motley brothers also became Ohio's fourteenth and fifteenth recruits.  They are also the first pair of commits that Ohio has landed that are able to play the cornerback position.  Xavior Motley primarily played cornerback during his time at Centerville High School, but Ilyaas Motley played some free safety and cornerback in high school.  The twins will look to help bolster the Bobcats' secondary along with 2016 safety commit Tyler Tupa, as the Bobcats ranked tenth in MAC allowing 261.4 yards per game through the air in 2014.
