2016 Buffalo football recruiting: 3-star RB Jonathon Lee commits to the Bulls

Lee's commitment gives a big boost to the Buffalo's 2016 recruiting class.

Lance Leipold continues to prove he is more than capable when it comes to recruiting. Leipold and the Bulls landed their seventh commitment from running back Jonathon Lee.

Lee announced his decision on his Twitter page Tuesday night.

Lee hails from Upper Marlboro, Maryland and currently attends Riverdale Baptist School. He chose Buffalo over reported offers from Air Force, Akron, Army, and Navy.

Both 247Sports and Rivals.com rate Lee as a  3-star prospect while 247Sports lists him as a top 50 running back, and a top 20 player in the state of Maryland for the class of 2016.

Lee is a shifty back who possesses great running vision that allows him to make some big-time plays. His playmaking abilities were good enough to land him All-Conference honors as a junior.

Hustle Belt has reached out to Lee and will update the article as necessary. In the meantime, check out his highlights from junior year courtesy of Hudl:
