2016 Western Michigan Football Recruiting: ATH Rhashaun Epting commits to Broncos

The Broncos add another piece to the 2016 recruiting class.

Already blessed with one of the top overall recruiting classes in the Mid-American Conference, P.J. Fleck and the Western Michigan coaching staff added another piece to the Broncos elite class on Saturday evening.

Announcing his plans to suit up for Fleck, and WMU via his Twitter page, 2016 prospect Rhashaun Epting of Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois is the latest prospect to Row The Boat.

"I just loved Coach Fleck. I like where I would play and my chances of playing next year. It just felt like home." The 6'3, 205-pound Epting stated to Hustle Belt as a few of the reasons why he chose Western Michigan over reported scholarship offers from programs such as Buffalo, Toledo, North Dakota, and Southern Illinois.

A jack-of-all-trades on the high school level, Epting lined up all over the field during his time with Immaculate Conception. Playing multiple positions the last few seasons, Epting will more than likely shift his focus to strictly offense as the Broncos plan to use his skill set at tight end.

"Tight end is where they plan to use me at. More as a receiver so I can cause mismatches." He said.
