2017 Western Michigan Football Recruiting: OL Dylan Deatherage commits to the Broncos

WMU landed its fourth commit for the class of 2017 on Saturday afternoon.

Western Michigan's class continued to grow on Saturday afternoon with the addition of offensive lineman Dylan Deatherage. He is WMU's fourth commitment thus far.

Deatherage currently attends Bishop McNamara located in Kankakee, Illinois. This is the same high school as recent WMU commit WR Chris Bell. The Fightin' Irish won the 3A Illinois State championship this past season.

In a recent conversation with Hustle Belt, Deatherage states that he "didn't plan on committing this early, however Western Michigan really impressed me."

Deatherage then went on to explain what helped him decide on Western Michigan.

"It was the total package. Excellent coaching staff, top notch facilities, a top 100 school in academics, and the feeling of F.A.M.I.L.Y. Coach Fleck & his staff wanted me and I wanted them! I'm excited for my future but my focus now is on my upcoming senior season and defending our State Championship Title."

Deatherage committed while on an unofficial visit in Kalamazoo and the Broncos were his only reported offer. He plays both offensive and defensive line in high school, but projects to be an offensive tackle at the next level.
