Central Michigan landed an offensive lineman to the mix earlier this week. Nick Follmer announced his commitment on Tuesday evening via his Twitter.

Follmer resides in Saint Louis, Missouri and currently attends Wentzville Libery. So far he has gone mostly under-the-radar as his only offer is from CMU. However, CMU is known for developing lineman into top draft picks, as we saw with Eric Fisher. Follmer has the ability to develop into yet another solid lineman for the Chippewas.
In a recent interview with Hustle Belt, Follmer said it was easy for him to see how passionate the coaching staff is.
"The reason that I committed to them was because when I first got there on the visit the energy was really high by both the players and the coaches. The coaches were excited to be there and they were very genuine people."
On top of this, the campus and winning atmosphere were factors in his decision.
"Also the campus size was perfect for me and any of the classes where within walking distance. What also made me commit there was it really seemed like they have a winning program and I have a perfect opportunity because coach Bonamego didn't get any lineman last year in the recruiting class so it put me in a good position."
