One of the top offensive line prospects in the state of Ohio will play his college ball in the Mid-American Conference. Announcing his plans on Saturday after once again making the trek to Oxford, three-star offensive lineman Chris Glaser of Solon High School, is the latest class of 2017 prospect to verbally commit to Chuck Martin, and the Miami coaching staff.
"The education is phenomenal and today on my second visit I got the feeling that this is where I belong. The staff and the team is a family which is what I was looking for, plus the coaches, especially coach Martin and Barnett, are straight forward, energetic, and I know they will build me into a great player." The 6'4, 260-pound Glaser stated to Hustle Belt soon after his commitment to the RedHawks.
Before his commitment, Glaser had scholarship offers from numerous programs on the table. Air Force, Army, Navy, and fellow Mid-American Conference schools such as Bowling Green, Buffalo, and Toledo all gave him a chance to continue to his education and football career.
A very athletic lineman, Glaser has the skill set to play multiple spots on the college level. While he could very well move inside, all signs are pointing towards him lining up at tackle for the RedHawks.
"They said it is too early to tell, but with my footwork, most likely tackle."
With Glaser now in the fold the RedHawks are currently sitting at three commits. The offensive tackle joins fellow 2017 prospects Logan Speyer and Andrew Marty in Miami's recruiting class.
