Coach Creighton received some positive news about the future of his program on Tuesday evening when running back Kaiser Carleton gave his verbal commitment to EMU.
Carleton chose the Eagles over reported offers from Ohio and Western Michigan. WMU has put together the top recruiting class in the MAC over the past three years, however Carleton turned down an offer to play with the Broncos for the opportunity to play in Ypsilanti.
He currently attends Dakota high school which is located in Macomb, Michigan.
Carleton explained to Hustle Belt that he will play both running back and wide receiver at EMU.
"I just felt like that is where I belong because there will be something special coming."
