Fayad confirmed this shortly after:

— Ali Fayad (@AFAYAD3) July 23, 2016
He currently attends Dearborn high school located in Dearborn, Michigan. Fayad reportedly had an offer from Saginaw Valley State. Fayad currently stands at 6-foot-2 and weight 230 pounds.
Fayad was named to the All-League and All-City teams in the Western Wayne Athletic Conference (WWAC) as a junior while playing both defensive end and outside linebacker. At the next level, look for Fayas to be used mostly as an edge rusher with EMU.
