Tim Lester has been extremely busy in recent weeks, and his hard work is starting to pay dividends on the recruiting trail.
Most recently, WMU landed 3-star LB Corvin Moment.
Moment chose the Broncos over reported offers from Syracuse, Bowling Green, FAU, ECU, Georgia Southern, Louisville, Marshall, MTSU, and Southern Miss.
He was on campus for his official visit the same weekend that Lester was named to the head coaching position.
Prior to P.J. Fleck’s departure, WMU made the linebacker position a priority, and that looks to still be the case under Lester.
Moment attends Vero Beach high school located in Vero Beach, Florida. The 6-foot-1 230 pound recruit played linebacker, safety, and defensive back in high school however he projects to play linebacker at the next level.
One thing that you will notice while watching Moment’s highlights is that he flies across the field. He’s also a solid open-field tackler which should help him at linebacker.
