This is Kent State’s second 3-star defensive back for the 2017 class. Rodley Jolicoeur is rated 2 stars by 247Sports, and is being recruited as a safety. Enrolling early for the Spring semester will give Hines a better opportunity to see the field next year as a freshman.
Hines displays good ball instincts and quick bursts of speed to break up passes. He also had three interceptions on the year.
