What the hell EMU? Apparently the Eagles decided to take a nap in the second half today, because they were destroyed by Army after entering halftime down by only four.
The Eagles allowed Army to rattle off 21 unanswered points in the third quarter, all on the ground. The Eagles held the Black Knights offense in check (relatively) in the first half, but were helpless in the final two quarters.
After Tyler Benz hooked up with Dustin Creel on a 28-yard touchdown early in the fourth, Army fired back scoring its sixth, and final, rushing touchdown of the night to give Army win over EMU, 50-25.
Bronson Hill had a big first half, but finished the game with just 143 yards for the game.
EMU's defense gave up 513 rushing yards, as the Eagles slip to 1-5 on the season.
