The second installment of the Mid-Major College Football Top 10 Poll is out, and we have some interesting movement this week.

After a bye-week, Fresno State remains top dog, while the Northern Illinois Huskies remain a close second to the Bulldogs. Ball State holds down the third spot for a second straight week as well. The Mid-American Conference drops to just three represented teams this week, but with all three of those coming in the Top 5. Bowling Green, despite falling 21-20 on the road to Mississippi State, still jumped up two spots to No. 5.

Elsewhere, Boise State moves up one spot to No. 4 after a 34-23 victory over Mountain West Conference foe Utah State Saturday. The move up one spot is due in large part to East Carolina's fall five spots to No. 9 after falling to fellow Conference-USA foe Tulane, 36-33 in overtime Saturday on the road. The biggest drop of all though comes from the Ohio Bobcats (4-2, 1-1 MAC) who fell 26-23 to Central Michigan at home. A week ago the 'Cats came in at No. 6 on the poll, but didn't receive a single vote this week.

Wyoming shot up three spots after beating New Mexico State 38-31. BYU moved up a spot, along with Tulane. Rice rounds out the Top 10, having jumped into the polls after a 27-21 win over the UTSA Roadrunners this past weekend.

The Buffalo Bulls received two votes this week, after rattling off their fourth straight win, and third straight blow out. Also receiving votes this week is Western Kentucky and Marshall.

Voting this week was comprised of one ballot from each of the following blogs: UB Bull Run (Buffalo), Cowboy Altitude (Wyoming), Miner Rush (UTEP), Mountain West Connection (MWC) and of course Hustle Belt.

What are your thoughts on the poll this week? Anyone too high, too low, snubbed? Was Ohio's drop warranted, what about Bowling Green's rise? Let us know in the comment section below.
