3Q: Momentum Swings to Falcons, but Toledo Leads 24-10

Bowling Green has stepped up out of the locker room, but Toledo continues to lead after the 3rd quarter 24-10.

The Falcons offense has been sparked through the air, as Matt Johnson has connected with Heath Jackson on 6 passes for 63 yards. The Falcons also got the first turnover of the game, after Gabe Martin and Josh Hendershot got to Terrance Owens just as he was about to pass, and DJ Lynch picked up the loose ball to give the Falcons very good field position.

Bowling Green very nearly had cut the lead to 7 after Matt Johnson ran in a touchdown from 2 yards out. But not only was he drilled at the goal line by Ethan Kagy (what looked to be helmet-to-helmet contact that left Johnson woozy), but the touchdown was wiped from the board on review. To make matters worse, a 4th an inches became 4th and 5 after a false start penalty by Dominic Flewallen, and instead of punching it in, they settled for the Tyler Tate 23 yard field goal.

Momentum is in Bowling Green's corner for the last 15 minutes.
