MAC Football Power Rankings Week 10: The MAC West Rules the Day

It's a MAC West party at the top of the Power Rankings this week.

1	1	NIU	8-0 (4-0)	Jordan Lynch is superhuman. He can beat you with his arm, legs and now hands. As long as he's leading the Huskies, it's hard to pick against them.
2	2	Ball State	8-1 (5-0)	The Cardinals offense seems to have hit cruising altitude. Keith Wenning is throwing touchdowns like its a video game, the defense is playing well, and if not for that loss to North Texas the Cardinals would be in BCS contention right now. Nov. 13 is going to be huge.
3	5	Toledo	5-3 (3-1)	I've been saying it for weeks: Toledo is better than its 3-losses would suggest. Keep in mind the Rockets losses came at Florida, at Missouri and at Ball State. The Rockets have wins against the No. 4 team in the FCS, CMU, WMU, Navy and now a road win against a very dangerous Bowling Green. David Fluellen's hurt? No problem. They just keep winning. Oh, and they're still in the thick of it. If things work out just right, they could still make a MAC Championship game.
4	5	Buffalo	6-2 (4-0)	The Bulls keep winning, and even if I'm not entirely convinced they can do it against Ohio and BG, and Toledo down the stretch, they do look good. Joe Licata is playing like a veteran, Bo Oliver is nasty, and that defense. The MAC East is going to be fun to watch down the stretch.
5	3	Bowling Green	5-3 (3-1)	I don't want to do this, but the Bulls are ahead in the standings, so BGSU must slip. Still, losing to Toledo by three isn't an awful loss. BG's defense is still scary, and the offense might be the third best in the conference. Every team has off days, and with games against Miami and EMU, BG will get to show people it can win big too. Games vs Ohio and at Buffalo are the one's to watch though.
5	4	Ohio	6-2 (3-1)	It's hard to do this, but based off Buffalo's perfect record in the MAC East, the Bulls deserve No. 4 alone, for now. Yes Ohio has dominated the past two weeks, but they do have a loss to CMU to make up for. The good news, all three of these teams play each other down the stretch, with Ohio's next two games coming against Buffalo and Bowling Green.
7	7	CMU	3-5 (2-2)	Bye week, nothing to see here.
8	8	Kent State	2-7 (1-4)	Yeah, Kent State is not good.
9	9	Akron	2-7 (1-4)	Akron was beaten all around by a much better team, so it's not fair to drop the Zips, especially considering what lies beneath.
10	10	EMU	1-7 (0-4)	Uhm, yeah. The Eagles season has deteriorated to a point where freshman are starting over established vets. Ron English is likely already typing up a resume. The day he's gone is rapidly approaching.
11	12	WMU	1-8 (1-4)	We're done to one winless team in the MAC. Was WMU's win pretty? No. Was it impressive? No. Was it a win? ABSOLUTELY! Row the Boat baby.
12	11	UMass	1-7 (1-3)	UMass might have beat Miami, but it lost to WMU. Was that mostly Charley Molnar's fault? YES. But a coach is a art of a team. If Molnar has any common sense, UMass could be 2-2 in the MAC right now...instead its No. 12 in our power rankings.
13	13	Miami	0-8 (0-4)	Will Miami win a game this year? I'm beginning to think no.
