FINAL: Eastern Michigan wins 35-32 in an Overtime Thriller Over Western Michigan

It was a second half that won't soon be forgotten.

Let's get down to brass tax and talk about the last couple minutes of regulation and the overtime part of all of this.

Down 29-21 with 6:51 to go in the fourth quarter, Brogan Roback led the Eagle offense down the field for 75 yards and hit Dustin Creel with a touchdown pass off of a play action for a 10-yard score. Needing 2 points to tie, Stan Parrish went for it. Roback handed the ball off to Ryan Brumfield, who took three steps to the left, paused, and passed the ball back to Roback to complete the conversion.

Forcing a three and out on Western Michigan's next possession, the Broncos were forced to punt with about a half of a minute to go. Taking over on offense with 26 seconds to go, Bronson Hill took two carries across midfield as time ran down to zeros. The Eagles still had two timeouts to work with.

EMU won the coin toss and elected to play defense first. Not allowing a first down, Andrew Haldeman hit his 6th field goal of the day from 36 yards out, putting the Broncos ahead 32-29.

The Eagles still had their opportunity to put the game away in overtime. On a 3rd and 10 situation, Roback found tight end Tyreese Russell on an "out" route to pick up the first down. After moving the chains, Ryan Brumfield was handed the ball on the next three plays and found himself into the end zone to put the game away with a final score of 35-32.
