Eastern Michigan heads to Kalamazoo, MI this weekend to take on in-state rival Western Michigan. Eastern (2-7, 1-4 in the MAC), is coming off a loss two weeks ago to the other directional mitten state team - the Central Michigan Chippewas. The Broncos (6-3, 4-1 in the MAC) beat Miami two weeks ago in Oxford by a score of 41-10.
The Broncos need to win Saturday to stay in West Division race with Toledo and Northern Illinois. The Eagles have history on their side though, as they have beaten Western the past three years, including a 35-32 overtime win last year in Ypsilanti.
