Air Force Falcons vs. Western Michigan Broncos: Gametime, TV, Streaming, and Potatoes!

WMU plays in its first bowl game since 2011 this Saturday, taking on the Air Force Academy in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise. The Broncos are seeking their first bowl win in program history.

Air Force enters the bowl game at 9-3, with a 5-3 record in the Mountain West Conference. The Falcons had two really impressive wins this year: one against Boise State back in September, and then handing Colorado State just its second loss of the year in the final week of the season.

The Broncos finished 8-4 with a 6-2 MAC record. That included wins over both MAC in-state rivals Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan. Keep your eyes on WMU running back Jarvion Franklin in this one, as he gathered both freshman of the year and offensive player of the year honors in the MAC - the first time in conference history a player received both these awards in the same year.

Both teams want to cap off impressive turn-arounds with a bowl win. Last year the Falcons were 2-10 and the Broncos were 1-11. Only one school gets to take home the potatoes though. I mean, you could just buy potatoes at a Meijer back in Kalamazoo BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME.

When: Saturday, December 20. 5:45pm Eastern.

Where: Albertsons Stadium, Boise, ID.

TV/Streaming: The game will be on ESPN and the WatchESPN app for mobile devices.

Odds: WMU (-1/1.5/-2) according to ESPN at 9:35 ET
