According to a report by the Toledo Blade, Bowling Green Falcons sophomore running back William Houston is currently being held in the Wood County jail after being accused of attempted rape Sunday Morning.

Houston, 19, was arrested Sunday morning after being identified as the suspect of an attempted rape.

According to The Balde's report, Bowling Green police officers were called to a home on Manville Drive in Bowling Green at 5:03 a.m. on Sunday. The victim told the officers that she had been at a party at the home on Manville Drive and fell asleep. She woke up later to find a man attempting to force himself upon her. The victim said she did not know who the man was, and that she fled the scene after she woke up, according to the police report obtained by The Blade.

Later, the victim returned to the Manville Drive home with police and people at the address identified Houston as the suspect.

The Dublin, Ohio native found success this past fall as a freshman short-yardage back in Bowling Green's offense, but could face disciplinary action pending a university investigation and the results of the criminal investigation.

No charges have been filed yet, but Houston is scheduled for a video arraignment in Bowling Green Municipal Court later today.
